It is not what we create, but where we create from that matters. You are an an inherently creative being. Forgetting this may lead you far away from the tides of inner peace to great inner turmoil, frustration, and feelings of irritability; of unhappiness; of being "stuck" or "unworthy" (without you even being aware of it).
In this special talk, based on her newly released book Deep Creativity : Seven Ways to Spark Your Creative Spirit (published by Shambhala Publications in March 2019), Deborah Anne Quibell presents an entirely new perspective on creativity—one that places value on the creative process as much (if not more) than creative products. One that returns creativity to a more reflective, meditative and introspective place. One that sees creativity as a sacred reflection of our divine nature, as a hugely awakening and transformative practice.
Deborah's talk will weave, poetically, around these foundational questions:
- What is Deep Creativity and why does it matter so much in our modern world?
- How can we access our inherent creativity? (And what happens to us when we do)
- What can block us from trusting in our own divine, creative potential?
- How can we partner more mindfully with the creative unconscious, and infuse our creative life with more soul and peacefulness?
You can expect a session full of heart, humor and poetry with some guided practices.
*Being asked to step in last minute to speak at the Inner Peace Conference, Deborah is currently in a metaphorical cave, having private and intense discussions with her own creative soul. Some claim she has also been invoking the help of any and all creative spirits around her. She can neither confirm nor deny any allegations. ; ) In any case, she is deeply honored to be with you for this session.
